This course will be held over two evenings, and you MUST attend both to receive the certificate.
Part 1 Tuesday 4th April - 6.45pm - 9.30pm
Part 2 Tuesday 11th April - 6.45pm - 9.30pm
This course provides the skills and knowledge required to provide emergency care, including CPR to an ill and/or injured person, to coordinate first aid until the arrival of professional assistance and how to effectively communicate and document the incident.
This course is delivered using blended learning, includes a range of theoretical and practical tasks and involves the use of simulated scenarios which reflect real life situations occurring in the community and the acute on field emergencies that may occur.
HealthEd Vic delivers this course using a combination of online pre-course study plus 5.5 hours of practical training
All participants must complete the online 48 question multiple choice First Aid work book.
